Seekquel Help Center

Everything Seekquel can do

A plain-language guide to every corner of the app, from your first import to your hundredth badge. Seekquel is built by a small independent team. No ads, no publishers paying for placement, no catalog for sale. The only thing that funds it is Pro.

Coming from Goodreads or StoryGraph? Bring your whole library over in one upload: ratings, shelves, and reviews included.

Getting Started

Create an account, tell Seekquel what you like to read, and bring your existing library with you.

Creating your account

Free

Sign up with email, or skip the form with a one-tap Google or Apple sign-in.

  1. Choose "Get Started," then pick email, Google, or Apple. Apple sign-in is available in the iOS app only.
  2. Email sign-up needs your name, email, and a password: 10 or more characters, with a mix of upper and lowercase letters and a number.
  3. Wherever you're prompted to sign in, whether that's adding a book, following someone, or voting on a list, the screen explains why.

Forgot your password? Seekquel emails you a 6-digit code instead of a reset link. Verifying your email is optional and never blocks browsing or tracking. It only unlocks the community side: publishing reviews, commenting, posting polls or graphics, and sending messages or recommendations.

Your Reading DNA

Free

A short questionnaire right after signup that shapes everything Seekquel recommends from day one.

  1. Tell Seekquel why you're here: to discover new books, track what you read, connect with other readers, or all three. This step can be skipped.
  2. Pick 3 to 10 genres and weight how much you love each one. This is the one step you can't skip.
  3. Set your preferred pace, mood, and age range, then flag any genres, moods, or tropes you'd rather avoid.
  4. Add a few books you've already read: search and rate them, or jump straight into importing your library.
  5. Set a reading goal, pick your look, and choose your privacy defaults.
  6. On the native app, if you're not already on Pro, a quick look at what Pro offers appears before your results.
  7. Get your results: a reading-type summary and a first batch of suggested books and readers to follow, followed by an optional "how did you hear about us" question.

Every step past genre selection can be skipped, and everything you enter saves as you go. Your Reading DNA isn't locked in here. It's a living profile you can revisit any time.

Importing your library

Free

Bring your entire Goodreads or StoryGraph library over in one upload: shelves, ratings, and reviews included.

  1. From Settings, choose Imports, then pick Goodreads or StoryGraph and export your library as a CSV from that site. Seekquel links you straight to the right export page.
  2. Upload the file, then choose which shelves and statuses to bring in, and whether to include your ratings and written reviews.
  3. Watch it process in real time: matched, added, and any unmatched titles are called out as it goes.
  4. Resolve anything left over one at a time or in bulk. Search the catalog yourself, or let Seekquel keep trying in the background.

Books are matched by ISBN first, then by title and author. A big import can earn you a handful of badges in one go.

Getting the app

Free

Seekquel works in a browser, but it's built mobile-first. The app is where it really shines.

A banner on the mobile site offers to open or install the app directly. Sharing a Seekquel link with a QR code or install link routes straight to the right App Store or Play Store listing.

Your Library

Add any book, organize it your way, and keep every edition and format straight.

Adding a book

Free

Search first. Most books are already in Seekquel's catalog. When one isn't, you've got three more ways in.

  1. Search the catalog from the search bar or the Add a Book screen. This covers the vast majority of books.
  2. Paste a Goodreads link for a book Seekquel doesn't have yet. It's added to your library right away while Seekquel builds out its full page in the background, then notifies you the moment it's ready.
  3. Scan the barcode on the back cover. Your camera reads the ISBN instantly, and you can scan multiple books in a row to add a whole stack at once.
  4. Enter it by hand for anything with no ISBN and no Goodreads page, like a self-published title, an ARC, or a foreign edition. Snap a photo of the cover and Seekquel reads off the title, format, and other details for you.

Barcode scanning needs the mobile app, since it uses your camera. Everything else works on the web too.

Private books and the shared catalog

Free

A book you enter by hand stays private to you unless you choose to share it.

  1. When you add a book manually, switch on "Also add to the public catalog" if you'd like other readers to find it too.
  2. Left off, your book is a private entry: trackable, reviewable, and shelvable, but visible only to you.
  3. Submitting it to the catalog puts it up for a quick review before it goes public. Your own copy and your notes stay exactly as they were either way.

You can submit a private book to the catalog later too, any time, from its own page.

Editions

Free

Track the exact copy you own: hardcover, paperback, ebook, or audiobook, not just the book in the abstract.

  1. Switch edition on any book's page to pick a different format or printing already in Seekquel, or pull one in live from outside sources.
  2. Add an edition manually if yours isn't listed anywhere. Scan the cover for auto-filled details, or type them in.
  3. Track everything you've personally submitted, and its review status, from My Edition Submissions in your library.

Shelves

Free · Pro adds more

Group your books however makes sense to you: favorites, gift ideas, a book club stack, on top of the shelves Seekquel keeps for you automatically.

  1. Five shelves already exist for every account and update themselves: Currently Reading, Want to Read, Read, Paused, and Did Not Finish.
  2. Create a custom shelf with a name, description, color, and public or private setting.
  3. On any shelf, search, filter, sort, and switch between list, grid, and bookshelf-spine views.
  4. Select several books at once to move, copy, tag, or change their status in bulk, right from the shelf.
  5. Turn a shelf into a public, votable Community List from its menu. Add a title and a short description of at least 30 characters, pick which books to include, and publish.

Free accounts get 5 custom shelves. Pro raises that to unlimited. Go over the limit after your Pro lapses and older shelves simply lock: nothing is deleted, and they open back up the moment you resubscribe.

Tags

Free

Freeform labels for whatever organizing system makes sense to you. Seekquel doesn't impose one, and there's no limit on how many you create.

Create tags on the fly while tagging a book, or manage them all in one place: rename, recolor, merge two into one, or delete. Tag counts show right on the chip.

Ownership tracking

Free

Track what you actually own, what you've borrowed, and what you've lent out, separate from your reading status.

Six statuses: Owned, Borrowed, Lent, Wishlist, Sold, and Donated. Owned, Borrowed, Lent, and Wishlist show up as browsable filters across your library, since they reflect what's currently in your hands. Sold and Donated are kept as history rather than filters.

Your reading queue, "Up Next"

Free

Line up your Want to Read pile in the order you'll actually get to it.

  1. Add any Want to Read book to the queue. The top slot is your "On Deck" pick.
  2. Reorder with simple move-up and move-down controls.
  3. Tap "Start Reading" on any queued book and it's promoted to On Deck and marked as your current read in one step.
  4. Once your queue is running low, Seekquel suggests unqueued books from your Want to Read shelf that match what you're currently reading.

Browsing your whole library

Free

See every book you own at once, filtered by tag or ownership rather than shelf by shelf.

A dedicated "All books" view filters by tag, ownership status, and, for romance readers, spice level, sorted newest-added first: a different lens than any single shelf.

Tracking Your Reading

Log your status and progress, build a streak, and keep yourself reading with a focus timer and a garden that grows with you.

Reading status

Free

One tap moves a book through its whole lifecycle: Want to Read, Reading, Paused, Read, or Did Not Finish.

  1. Tap the status control on any book to open the picker.
  2. Starting a book for the first time offers a companion plant for your garden, an edition to read if more than one exists, and a starting page if you're partway in already.
  3. Marking a book Did Not Finish optionally asks why, purely for your own record, with several common reasons to choose from.
  4. Finished a book before? Start it again any time with Reread. It opens a brand-new reading session on the same book, on top of your history.

Logging your progress

Free

Log by page or by time listened. One live bookmark per book, with your full history saved underneath it.

Enter a new page, or timestamp for audiobooks, any time. Percent complete is worked out for you, and every save is added to that book's reading timeline, so you can always look back at how a read actually went.

Finishing a book

Free

Marking a book Read doesn't just update a shelf. It opens into a small celebration.

  1. A quick-rate screen appears: star rating, an optional one-line thought, and a chance to fix the finish date.
  2. From there, save the rating on its own, jump into a full review, or skip entirely.
  3. Publishing a rating or review sets off a celebration, with an option to share, jump to your updated stats, or continue straight into the next book in the series.

My Garden

Free

Every book you're reading is a plant that visibly grows as you make progress through it.

Pick a plant type for a book when you start it: flower, jasmine, tomatoes, strawberry, bird of paradise, or coleus. Each moves through six stages, seed, sprout, seedling, bud, flower, and bloom, as your progress climbs. Finished books stay in your garden permanently as keepsakes.

Daily targets and reading goals

Free

Set a simple daily habit, plus flexible longer-term challenges on your own terms.

  1. Daily targets: set a minutes-per-day and pages-per-day goal, tracked on two rings that fill as you read.
  2. Reading challenges: pick books, pages, minutes, listening minutes, genres, or authors as your measure, over a preset window, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
  3. Every active challenge shows percent complete, whether you're ahead or behind pace, and a projected finish date.

Reading streaks

Free

A daily reading streak with real slack built in, so one missed day doesn't wipe out your progress.

  1. Your streak grows by one for any day you log reading progress, in your own timezone.
  2. Plan up to one rest day a week in advance. It doesn't break your streak and doesn't use a freeze.
  3. You're also granted two freezes a month, which, left on auto, quietly cover a missed day for you after the fact.
  4. Hit 7, 30, 100, or 365 days and Seekquel marks the moment with a shareable milestone card.

Focus timer

Free · Pro adds more

A built-in reading timer that logs your session the moment you stop.

  1. Choose free-read, at your own pace, or Pomodoro-style focus intervals with built-in breaks.
  2. Set a session goal: just read, a set number of minutes, a page count, or a number of focus cycles.
  3. Stopping the timer opens progress logging pre-filled with your elapsed time, ready to confirm.

Free-read mode is free for everyone. Pomodoro-style focus intervals are a Pro feature.

Ambient sounds

Free · Pro adds more

Background sound themes to read to, like rain or a fireplace, playable right alongside your focus timer.

Free accounts can play one track at a time. Pro opens up the full sound library and lets you layer up to three tracks at once, each with its own volume.

Discovering Books

Search, browse, and get suggestions built from your own ratings, never a black box, never a stranger's algorithm guessing blind.

Browse

No sign-in needed

Filter the whole catalog by genre, mood, trope, pace, and more. This is where mood-based discovery really lives.

Stack filters freely: genre, mood, trope, setting period, pace, audience, complexity, and, for romance and romantasy, spice level. Sort by popularity, rating, newest, or, for romance, spiciest. No sign-in needed.

Discover feed

Free

A personalized feed built from your Reading DNA and your library, with a dedicated row for what people you follow are reading.

Expect a mix of sections: books matched to your taste, deliberate picks outside your usual lane, "Because You Loved…" carousels anchored on a specific favorite, series you can continue, what's popular with friends, and new arrivals. Long-press any cover for a quick action: add it, share it, or mark it not interested.

Swipe feed

Free

A swipe-through stream of picks, one book at a time, reached from Discover's "Open the feed" option.

Save a book or mark it not interested with a swipe, and keep going. A continuous stream rather than a fixed list.

Pick For Me

Free

Three quick questions, one considered recommendation, not a wall of options.

  1. Pick up to three moods you're in the mood for.
  2. Set your pace preference, from slow burn to page-turner.
  3. Set how much depth you want, from easy escape to literary.

Seekquel blends your answers with your Reading DNA and reveals one book at a time, with a short "why this" note. Not feeling it? Try another.

Reading DNA, your ongoing taste profile

Free

Editable any time, and it does more than sit there. It's the engine behind everything Seekquel suggests.

Update your favorite genres, pace, mood, and audience preferences, and set explicit dealbreakers to avoid, whenever you like. Recommendations are built from your own ratings and reading signals. The more you rate and finish, the sharper they get, blended with what you've told Seekquel directly.

Not Interested

Free

Hide a book from your recommendations any time you don't want to see it again.

Undo it right away with the toast that appears, or manage every hidden book at once from its own list later: restore individually or in bulk, or add straight to your library from there.

Recommendations from friends

Free

See your personal picks and what friends have specifically sent your way, side by side.

Recommend any book straight to another reader from its own page. Track what you've sent and what's landed in your own inbox, each with a clear status.

The full catalog, A to Z

No sign-in needed

Every work, author, and series in Seekquel's catalog, browsable alphabetically with a real letter-jump index.

No sign-in needed.

Book Pages and Corrections

Every book, author, and series has its own page, and readers help keep them accurate.

A book's own page

No sign-in needed

Everything about a book in one place: synopsis, mood and pace, characters, editions, FAQs, and what the community thinks.

A Community tab brings reviews, quotes and passages, and reader photos together, alongside a running list of corrections the community has already made. Recent activity and similar books live on the page's other tabs.

Author and series pages

No sign-in needed

An author's full bibliography and bio, and a series laid out in reading order.

Once you've finished any book from a series, its page shows a live "X of Y read" progress bar, and marks itself complete once every book is out. Follow any author to hear from them directly.

Suggesting an edit

Free

Spot something wrong? Fix it yourself, right from the page.

  1. Tap "Suggest an Edit" on a book, author, edition, or series, and pick the field that's wrong.
  2. Propose the correct value, with a reason if it's asked for.
  3. Trusted contributors' edits apply instantly. Many factual fields, like an ISBN or page count, are also checked automatically against outside sources and applied the moment they're confirmed. Anything left goes to a quick moderator review.

Every correction you submit, accepted or still pending, is tracked in one place: My Contributions.

Reader signals

Free

Mood, pace, and content notes are crowd-sourced from real reviews, not overwritten one submission at a time.

While writing a review, confirm or adjust a book's pace, complexity, mood, themes, and content-warning tags. It takes one tap and never blocks your review from posting. Once enough readers agree, that consensus fills in any gap in the book's page, without ever overwriting something already there.

Characters

Free

See a book's cast right on its page, and add or correct one if it's missing.

Browse by role: protagonist, antagonist, supporting, or cameo, spoiler-gated until you choose to reveal it. Add a new character or suggest a fix to an existing one, with a source.

FAQs

Free

The questions readers actually ask about a book, author, or series, written and refined by readers.

Suggest a new question and answer, or a fix to an existing one, with the option to mark it as a spoiler.

Reporting a duplicate

Free

Found the same book listed twice? Flag it and let a moderator sort out the merge.

Reputation and the contributor leaderboard

Free

Every accepted correction builds your standing, and unlocks the ability to publish edits instantly instead of waiting on review.

Six tiers, from Reader up through Scribe, Curator, Editor, Archivist, and Librarian, ranked on a leaderboard. From My Contributions, track your own corrections and edition submissions, see what still needs fixing across the catalog, and edit or withdraw anything you've submitted that's still pending.

Reviews and Ratings

Rate the shape of a book, not just the number of stars, and sometimes hear back from the author.

Writing a review

Free

Start with a star rating. Everything past that is optional but adds real depth.

  1. Rate the book, then write as much or as little as you want.
  2. Blur individual spoiler sentences right in the editor, no need to flag the whole review over one line.
  3. Set an overall spoiler level, and the language you're writing in.
  4. For romance, rate the spice level, from sweet to scorching.
  5. Optionally, score five dimensions of "the shape of the book": Writing and Impact are constant, then, for fiction, Characters, Plot, and Atmosphere; for nonfiction, Ideas, Logic, and Clarity.

A review in progress saves itself locally if you navigate away, so you never lose your draft.

Precise ratings

Pro

Rate in tenths of a star instead of halves, for the books that land somewhere in between.

My Reviews

Free

Every review you've written, drafts included, in one sortable list.

Edit, publish, share, or delete any of them in a tap.

Author replies

Free

A verified author can reply publicly to a review of their own book, clearly marked so it's unmistakably them.

A reply shows a "Verified author" badge, and you're notified the moment one lands on your review.

Stats and Your Home Screen

See the story behind your reading, and shape the first screen you land on.

Stats dashboard

Free · Pro adds more

Books, pages, hours, streaks, genres, and more, laid out the way you want to see them.

  1. Overview: a grid of stat cards you can show, hide, and reorder yourself. Most are free, with several deeper chart-style widgets, like your reading heatmap and pace over time, reserved for Pro.
  2. Profile: a full taste-profile breakdown, moods, themes, genre-and-trope combinations, and how your ratings compare to the community. Entirely a Pro tab.
  3. Calendar: a day-by-day activity view, filterable by what you read, started, finished, or reviewed. Free for everyone.

Monthly Wrapped

Free

A shareable recap waiting for you at the start of every month: books, pages, minutes, your top genre, and more.

Your Home dashboard

Free · Pro adds more

The first thing you see when you open the app, and every section on it is optional.

  1. Your current read stays pinned up top whenever you're actively reading.
  2. Below that: a daily progress strip, quick actions, and a mix of sections you choose, from Up Next and recommendations to bestsellers, your challenges, your Monthly Challenge card, recent activity, your plant, streak, and badges.
  3. Tap the customize icon to reorder, show, or hide sections, right from Home or from its own full editor.

A handful of sections, a full reading calendar, reading heatmap, genre and trope breakdown, and pace insights, are Pro.

Community and Social

Follow other readers, keep a notebook of quotes and photos, and see what your circle is reading.

The community feed

Free

A feed of what people you follow are actually doing: finishing books, shelving new ones, hitting streaks and milestones, writing reviews.

Like anything real, and comment on it, with a contextual "Cheer" reaction on goals, milestones, and streaks. Filter by activity type. Two ways to post something of your own: a poll, picking 2 to 4 books, authors, series, genres, or moods and letting anyone who can see it vote, or a graphic built in the Share Composer.

Your Notebook

Free · Pro adds more

Everything you've written, quoted, or photographed about your books, gathered in one searchable place.

  1. Notes: long-form notes on any book, up to 10,000 characters.
  2. Quotes: snap a photo of a page, tap to select the passage you want, and Seekquel lifts the text out for you, or type one in by hand.
  3. Photos: attach a photo to any book, with an optional caption and the choice to share it to the feed.

Quotes and photos can be liked but not commented on. Free accounts get 5 camera-scanned quotes a month, typing one in is always unlimited, and 3 photos per book. Pro raises photos to 50 per book and removes the scan limit.

Your public profile

Free

Your shelves, reviews, stats, and notebook on one page, with a toggle to preview exactly what a stranger sees.

Choose which tabs show at all: Overview, Books, Reviews, Collections, Notebook, Authors, and Contributions.

Compare with a friend

Free · Pro adds more

A head-to-head look at how your reading taste overlaps with anyone else's, not just a stats screen side by side.

See a taste-match score, books you've both read and where you agreed or disagreed, what they've read that you haven't, and anything on both of your want-to-read piles. Starting a buddy read straight from a shared pick is a Pro feature.

Direct messages

Free

Real one-to-one messaging, with a book attached if you like: reply, react, and see read receipts.

Message someone you don't already follow and it arrives as a request they can accept or decline first, the same courtesy you'd expect anywhere else.

Follows, blocking, and muting

Free

Following is open by default. Turn on follow approval in Privacy settings if you'd rather review requests first.

Block or mute anyone from their profile, and manage both lists, with an easy way back, from Settings.

Clubs and Buddy Reads

Read together: a persistent group with a rotating pick, or a one-off read-along with a friend.

Book Clubs

Free · Pro adds more

A persistent reading group that nominates its next book, then reads it together on a shared schedule.

  1. Create a club with a name, description, and privacy setting, and invite people by link or in-app search.
  2. Members nominate books and rank their top three; an admin picks the next read from the ranked list.
  3. Each pick runs as a session: meeting details, a milestone-based schedule, RSVPs, and built-in discussion.
  4. Wrap the session with an optional group rating; it moves into the club's archive.

Creating and hosting a club is a Pro feature. Joining and participating in one is free for everyone, no limit on how many.

Buddy Reads

Free · Pro adds more

A one-off, small-group read-along on a single book, with your progress syncing automatically from your own reading activity.

  1. Start a buddy read on any book, choose how progress is tracked (percent, page, chapter, or listening time), and invite people by link or search, or make it public and let anyone with an open seat join.
  2. Just keep reading normally. Logging progress anywhere in the app updates your position in the buddy read automatically, no separate check-ins needed.
  3. Discussion unlocks milestone by milestone, gated to whoever's furthest behind, so nothing's spoiled for anyone still catching up.
  4. Once every participant reaches the end, the buddy read wraps itself up automatically.

Free accounts get one active buddy read at a time, capped at two people, and can't make it public. Pro removes the concurrent-read limit and the public cap entirely, and buddy reads stay uncapped on participants by default, with the option to set a cap of your own up to 20.

Challenges and Lists

Badges, a monthly card of reading prompts, and every way to rank, curate, and chart your books.

Badges

Free

Dozens of collectible badges across reading volume, favorite genres and authors, community participation, and consistency. They unlock themselves as you read, nothing to claim.

Most badges have their own tier ladder, from a first taste up through the top rank, and earning one sets off a small celebration. Browse everything you've earned, and everything still open, any time.

Monthly Challenge

Free

A fresh 5x5 card of reading prompts every month that completes itself as you use the app, nothing to check off by hand.

  1. A new card is ready for you on the 1st of each month.
  2. Squares complete themselves as you read: scan a book, finish one, hit a streak, write a review, and more all count automatically.
  3. Clear a row, column, or diagonal for a small celebration; fill the whole card for a bigger one.
  4. Not feeling this month's mix? Regenerate a fresh card at your preferred difficulty any time.

Tier Lists

Pro

Drag your own books into S, A, B, C, D, or F tiers and share the result.

Pull books in from your library one at a time, or bulk-add a whole shelf or tag, then rank up to 200 of them. Share as an image, or make the list public for others to browse, like, and comment on. Viewing someone else's public tier list is free for everyone; creating and editing your own is Pro.

Community Lists

Free

User-made, community-voted lists of books, authors, or series. Anyone can start one.

Write a title and a description of at least 30 characters, tag a few genres and vibes, and add items. Other readers upvote or downvote each one, with your vote carrying more weight the more you've contributed to the catalog. Follow any list to keep tabs on it, or convert one of your own shelves straight into a list.

Reading Lists

No sign-in needed

"Most Read Fantasy," "Most Read Romance," and more: editorial rankings built from real reader activity, updated weekly.

No sign-in needed.

Chart Builder, "My Charts"

Pro

Build custom stat charts from ready-made building blocks: pick what to measure, how to break it down, and how to visualize it.

  1. Choose a measure: books, pages, minutes, average rating, reviews, or, for romance, average spice.
  2. Choose how to break it down: by month, year, genre, author, format, day of week, and more.
  3. Pick a chart type from whatever's valid for that combination (bar, donut, radar, tag cloud, or a cover grid) and preview it live.

Not a free-form query tool. Every chart is one of a curated set of combinations, chosen so each one actually looks good and means something.

Sharing Your Reading

Turn your library, reviews, and stats into something worth posting.

Share Composer

Free · Pro adds more

A designed graphic built straight from your own library: a book you're reading, a review, a quote, your monthly stats, a whole shelf.

  1. Start from a ready-made template, Monthly Wrap-Up, Reading Stats, Shelf Showcase, Quote Share, Currently Reading, and more, or build from scratch.
  2. Add and arrange up to 8 elements: book art, a stats row, a quote, a review snippet, your reading heatmap, and more.
  3. Pick a background and a format, then save it, share it directly, or post it straight into the community feed with a caption.

The Story format and most templates and backgrounds are free. Pro brings Square and Landscape formats everywhere, custom photo backgrounds, and removes the watermark. A plain link or a one-tap post to X, Facebook, Reddit, WhatsApp, or Telegram is always available too, without opening the full composer.

Invite friends

Free

Give a friend a month of Pro, get a month yourself, for every friend who joins and verifies their email.

Grab your personal invite link from Settings and share it any way you like. The reward lands automatically for both of you, no strings attached.

The Author Program

For writers: claim your page, hear from readers directly, and keep your FAQ current.

Claiming your author profile

Free

"Is this you?": a reviewed request to link your account to your catalog page as its author.

  1. From your own unclaimed author page, choose how you'd like to verify: proving control of your official website, matching your account email to your site's domain, an official social post, a publisher or agent vouching for you, or a manual review.
  2. Website and email verification can confirm themselves automatically; everything else is checked by hand.
  3. Every claim, automatic or not, is confirmed by a final admin review before your profile shows as claimed.

Once you're verified

Free

A verified badge, a lightweight analytics dashboard, and, depending how you verified, a fuller toolkit for engaging with your readers.

  1. Edit your profile: bio, photo, and links.
  2. Author Tools dashboard: profile views, follower growth, FAQ opens, and your most-clicked books, plus a feed of where you and your books are being mentioned around the app.
  3. Post updates to your followers: a new release, an event, or general news, delivered as a notification and a feed post.
  4. Reply to reviews of your own books, publicly, with a "Verified author" badge on your reply.
  5. Manage your FAQ directly, without waiting on moderation.

Editing your basic profile just needs an approved claim. Posting to followers, replying to reviews, and managing your FAQ directly need a stronger tier of verification: proving control of your official website or email, or a publisher or agent attestation.

If you cancel

Free

Nothing is ever deleted. Pro features simply pause until you resubscribe, and everything comes back exactly as it was.

  1. Turning off auto-renew doesn't end your access right away. You keep full Pro until the period you already paid for actually runs out.
  2. Before that happens, you'll see a one-time recap of exactly what's about to pause for you personally, with a straight line back into your subscription settings if you'd like to stay on.
  3. Once access does lapse, gated features lock or hide rather than disappear: extra shelves lock, extra photos hide, tier lists go view-only, and so on.
  4. Resubscribe any time and everything unlocks again automatically. Nothing to rebuild.

Settings and Support

Notifications, appearance, privacy, and getting help when you need it.

Notifications

Free

One inbox for every ping Seekquel sends, with independent control over in-app, push, and email for each category.

Set quiet hours to pause push and in-app notifications overnight, or snooze a whole category for an hour, a day, or a week.

Appearance

Free · Pro adds more

Light, dark, or match your system, plus a full color theme, not just an accent color.

17 themes in total, each with its own palette and, for most, its own font pairing. 4 are free, including the most popular pick, and the rest are Pro. Switch the app's language between English and French from the same screen.

Accessibility

Free

Four text-size steps and a reduce-motion switch, available to every account.

Privacy settings

Free

Granular control over who sees what, right down to individual tabs on your profile.

Set your overall profile visibility, require approval before someone can follow you, choose exactly what's visible to others (currently reading, stats, badges, challenges, reviews, and more, each independently), and turn on a profanity filter for comments, reviews, messages, and bios.

Connected accounts

Free

Link Google or Apple to your account so signing in never depends on remembering a password.

Feedback and roadmap

Free

Submit a feature request or bug report, and upvote other readers' ideas.

Every post moves through a real, public status: Open, Planned, In Progress, Responded, Done, or Declined.

Support
