Synopsis

Cora Davis arrives at her great aunt's house in Crow's Nest with her health wrecked and her career in the balance, meaning to rest. She has not thought much about the gap in her memory between the earthquake that left her with dizzy spells and the journey home.

Then pieces of it start coming back, and what they contain is not an accident. She remembers the danger that drove her off her last dig, and who was behind it.

Silas Ward came back to Crow's Nest after ten years as a ranch hand, to look after the women in his family. That same instinct puts him at Cora's side once it becomes clear that whatever she is remembering has followed her home.

Book two of Danielle Grandinetti's Harbored in Crow's Nest, a Depression-era romantic suspense series set on the Wisconsin shore of Lake Michigan.
