The Third Circle

Leona Hewitt, disguised in men's attire, infiltrates Lord Delbridge's museum to reclaim a stolen family relic. There, she encounters Thaddeus Ware, a powerful mesmerist with psychic gifts, on a similar mission. Despite his ability to control minds, Leona, a gifted crystal worker, finds herself drawn to him, and he to her. They recover a dangerous crystal, a key to the shadowy Third Circle, but Leona absconds with it, unaware of the peril she invites from Lord Delbridge and a ruthless hunter.
