Synopsis

Forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan faces a complex web of crimes after a teenage girl is killed in a hit-and-run. The investigation links the girl's death to a human trafficking ring that spans from South America to Afghanistan, involving mummified dogs and high-level conspiracies. As Tempe digs deeper, she discovers that her own ex-husband might be dangerously close to the center of the operation.
