Synopsis

While supervising an archaeology field school in South Carolina, forensic anthropologist Tempe Brennan unearths a fresh corpse hidden among prehistoric remains. The investigation leads her to a local street clinic where patients are vanishing without a trace. As she digs deeper into the medical conspiracy, she must navigate the heat of Charleston and the presence of her ex-husband.
