Synopsis

Forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan is skeptical when an amateur online sleuth presents a disturbing recording of a girl held captive. The evidence suggests the victim might be Cora Teague, a teenager missing for years whose remains may already be in Brennan's lab. To find the truth, Brennan must venture into the remote North Carolina backwoods to investigate a site linked to the chilling audio.
