Synopsis

Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan is called to a dilapidated house where a ritualistic cellar contains a human skull and animal sacrifices. The discovery of a second, mutilated body nearby sparks a local panic over potential occult activity. As vigilantes hunt for suspects, Brennan must separate superstition from science to find a killer before the community's fear leads to more bloodshed.
