Synopsis

While in Montreal to testify in a murder trial, forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan discovers three skeletons hidden in a pizza parlor basement. The local police dismiss the remains as historic, but Brennan suspects a much more recent and sinister origin. She must navigate a cold winter and a complex investigation to identify the victims before the trail goes cold.
