When a refrigeration truck in Texas is found filled with the bodies of illegal immigrants, pathologist Margaret Campbell and detective Li Yan are reunited under the worst possible circumstances. As they investigate a massive human trafficking ring, they discover the victims were carrying a biological threat that could trigger a global catastrophe.
