Synopsis

Captain Jack Aubrey and his friend Stephen Maturin set sail for the Pacific to intercept an American frigate during the War of 1812. Their journey takes them around Cape Horn and into the vast, unknown waters of the South Seas, where they face isolation and the harsh realities of life at sea. This tenth installment of the series focuses on the endurance of the crew and the deep bond between the two leads as they hunt their quarry across the globe.
