The Far Side of the World

Captain Jack Aubrey and his friend Stephen Maturin set sail for the Pacific to intercept an American frigate during the War of 1812. Their journey takes them around Cape Horn and into the vast, unknown waters of the South Seas, where they face isolation and the harsh realities of life at sea.
