Runaway Groomsman

Screenwriter Sawyer Walsh knows how a love story is supposed to go — which makes standing at the altar as his ex-girlfriend marries his famous best friend all the more unbearable. He runs, leaving a stunned congregation and a wall of cameras behind him.

He lands in Canoodle, California, a small town with a big personality, and at Canoodle Cove Cabins, a family business Fallon Long is trying to hold together on her own while caring for her ailing grandfather. Sawyer needs somewhere to disappear; Fallon needs hands, and neither of them is looking for anything else.

Runaway Groomsman is a slow-burn small-town romantic comedy: banter-heavy, warm-hearted, and more interested in second chances and found community than in the scandal that started it.
