One Piece Vol 2: Buggy The Clown
Arriving at a new island alongside his first crewmate Zoro, Luffy runs into Nami, a skilled thief who's just stolen a treasure map from the Buggy Pirates — and who wants nothing to do with joining Luffy's crew, despite his invitation. When Nami hands Luffy over to Buggy the Clown in a scheme of her own, Luffy finds himself facing a Devil Fruit user who can detach and reassemble his own body parts at will.
As Buggy and his henchmen Mohji and Kabaji terrorize the town, Nami has a change of heart and helps bind Buggy's scattered pieces together long enough for Luffy to land the finishing blow. Volume 2 of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece brings Nami into Luffy's orbit and delivers the series' first major villain defeat.
The story is a single continuous narrative that begins in the first volume, so reading from the start is necessary to follow the development of the crew and the overarching plot.
The content within the pages remains identical across formats, though the omnibus editions collect three individual volumes into a single book and feature different cover art.
