Goldfinch

The Plated Prisoner series reaches its conclusion as full-scale war breaks out across Orea. Auren has spent the series being caged first by one king and then by another, and Goldfinch is built around her refusal to let anyone erase who she's become.

The bond between Auren and Slade, tied to old magic older than either of them, holds even as the Stone King works to destroy her. The final book brings every kingdom's storyline to a head, closing out the arc that began with a woman gilded and put on display in Highbell.

As the series finale, Goldfinch carries the heaviest content of the saga, including graphic violence and loss.
