Synopsis

After ten years confined in King Midas's golden castle, Auren is now a prisoner of a different kind: a bargaining chip marched alongside the Fourth Kingdom's army as it heads toward war. Her fate depends on Commander Rip, a fae soldier with a fearsome battlefield reputation and a bloodline blamed for the destruction of an entire kingdom generations earlier.

Out of her cage but still not free, Auren has to navigate armies, rival kings, and her own uncertainty about who she can trust — including the commander whose presence unsettles her more than she expects.

Glint continues the story begun in Gild, moving Auren from a single castle into the wider, harsher politics of Orea's warring kingdoms.
