Synopsis

When a bitter custody battle turns into a kidnapping plot, Boston PI Spenser is hired to recover a neglected fifteen-year-old boy. Realizing neither parent truly cares for the kid, Spenser takes him to the Maine wilderness to teach him how to stand on his own two feet. While dodging professional hitmen, the detective must help the boy find his backbone before the world breaks him.
