Synopsis

Spenser and his team are drawn into a case involving a bookie, a mobster, and a gambling ring when Hawk is injured while protecting a bookie. As the investigation deepens, the line between right and wrong blurs, and Spenser must decide how far he's willing to go to protect those he cares about.
