Synopsis

In 1922, the Emerson family returns to the Valley of the Kings just as a widow arrives with a golden statuette she believes is cursed. After her husband's sudden death, she begs Amelia Peabody to return the stolen relic to its rightful tomb to stop the killing. Amelia and her clan must track the artifact's bloody history through the Egyptian desert while facing an old enemy.
