Synopsis

In 1922, the Emerson family watches from the sidelines as Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon prepare to uncover King Tutankhamon's tomb. While Radcliffe Emerson fumes over lost digging rights, a dangerous trap and a long-held family secret pull the clan into a mystery that could change their lives. Amelia Peabody must lead her family through a web of villains and historical discovery in the heart of the Valley of the Kings.
