Synopsis

Amelia Peabody is a fiercely independent Victorian woman who uses her inheritance to pursue her dream of excavating Egyptian ruins. After rescuing a young woman in Rome, she arrives in Cairo only to find herself clashing with a stubborn archaeologist and facing a series of strange, supernatural threats. Between dodging a supposed mummy and solving a murder, Amelia must prove she is more than a match for the dangers of the desert.
