Synopsis

Amelia Peabody and her hot-tempered husband Emerson are stuck excavating a dull site in Mazghunah after being barred from the great pyramids. Their boredom vanishes when a local dealer is murdered, leaving behind a trail of cryptic papyrus scraps and a missing mummy case. Amelia must navigate ancient tombs and modern dangers to solve a crime that is far more complex than a simple theft.
