Synopsis

Harry Dresden, Chicago's only professional wizard, is in a serious financial and personal slump. His life takes a turn when the Winter Queen of Faerie offers him a deal: solve the murder of the Summer Knight and clear her name. If he succeeds, he might just break free from a supernatural hold and end his streak of bad luck, but he'll also find himself entangled in faerie politics with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
