Savannah Breeze

Savannah Breeze
Synopsis
Savannah Breeze is Mary Kay Andrews' 2006 sequel to Savannah Blues, and the second book in the Weezie and Bebe Mysteries. This time the spotlight moves from antiques picker Weezie Foley to her best friend, BeBe Loudermilk, a Savannah restaurateur with impeccable taste and, briefly, terrible judgment in men.
A short romance with a charming "investment counselor" named Reddy leaves BeBe stripped of nearly everything she owns. All that survives the wreckage is the Breeze Inn, a shabby mid-century motor court on Tybee Island that no self-respecting Savannah belle would set foot in. With Weezie's help and a handyman named Harry, BeBe grudgingly sets about making the place habitable — and profitable.
When Reddy surfaces in Florida, BeBe goes after him, and the book turns into a comic revenge caper with a beach in it. Andrews keeps the tone light and Southern, with the friendship between BeBe and Weezie doing most of the emotional work.
