Synopsis

Becky Brandon, née Bloomwood, comes home from a ten-month honeymoon glowing, tanned, and — inevitably — trailing a mountain of impulse purchases. But her homecoming isn't quite the triumph she imagined. Money is suddenly tight, Luke is losing patience with her spending, and her best friend Suze seems to have found a shiny new best friend while Becky was away.

Then her parents drop a bombshell: Becky has a long-lost half-sister. Thrilled at the thought of a built-in shopping companion, Becky rushes to meet her — and discovers that Jess is her polar opposite. Where Becky lives for the high street, Jess is thrifty to the bone, allergic to frivolity, and far happier in a muddy cave than a shoe department. Determined to win her sister over, Becky sets out to prove the two of them can be close, with results every bit as disastrous — and endearing — as you'd expect.

The fourth Shopaholic novel is a warm, funny story about family, friendship, and the surprising truth that the people least like us can be exactly the ones we need.
