Synopsis

In 1809, Lady Charlotte Denham finds herself in a difficult position after her father's death, leaving her and her sisters vulnerable. To secure their future, she agrees to a marriage of convenience with the Duke of Clyvedon, a man known for his cold demeanor. As Charlotte navigates the complexities of her new life at Juniper Hall, she discovers that her husband may not be as indifferent as he seems, and a deeper connection might be possible.
