Gulf Coast Reunion

Gulf Coast Reunion is the third book in Maggie Miller's Blackbird Beach series, published in March 2021. It follows on from Gulf Coast Secrets and continues the story of the Carpenter family and the Sea Glass Inn on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Georgia Carpenter, her adult children, and Travis the handyman are still deep in the work of turning her late great-aunt's inn into something guests can stay in. Then Georgia gets a phone call from Lilly, the sister she has not spoken to in years, and Lilly comes to the beach house. She has cancer, and she is dying.

What follows is a reconciliation neither sister planned for and both have reasons to resist. The renovation keeps going around them, and the family closes ranks in the way families do when the clock has been made visible.

As with the rest of the series, it is short, clean, and comfortable — no explicit content, low conflict, and written to be read straight through with the books either side of it. Newcomers should begin with Gulf Coast Cottage.
