Synopsis

Mistletoe Cottage opens Debbie Mason's Harmony Harbor series, a small-town contemporary romance set in a coastal Massachusetts town. Sophie DiRossi left Harmony Harbor in disgrace seven years ago, pregnant after a one-night fling. A fire has now left her with nowhere to go, and she comes home with a seven-year-old daughter who has not spoken since the blaze.

Sophie takes a job managing Greystone Manor, a run-down estate being turned into a destination hotel, and tries to keep her head down. That is not possible with Liam Gallagher in town. Liam is a firefighter, he had real feelings for Sophie before she disappeared, and seeing her again makes it clear those feelings did not go anywhere.

The book runs the second-chance romance alongside the fate of Greystone Manor and the wider Gallagher family, who anchor the rest of the series. It is warm, Christmas-adjacent, and low on heat.
