Synopsis

Gulf Coast Wedding is the seventh book in Maggie Miller's Blackbird Beach series, a small-town beach romance set on Florida's Gulf Coast. Georgia Carpenter has almost everything she wanted: her daughter Mia nearby, her sister Lilly at her side, and the Sea Glass Inn only a few odds and ends away from opening its doors.

Before the inn is even ready for guests, it has a wedding on the books. Sam and Levi want to be married at Blackbird Beach, and Georgia intends to give them the day they deserve, even as a magazine photoshoot looms and the town council election drags the whole community into it. Travis Taylor, the inn's handyman and Georgia's steady presence, is running against Lavinia Major, who is not the sort to lose graciously.

The novel keeps to the series' warm, low-conflict register: family, second chances, and a coastal town whose small dramas matter to everyone who lives there. Readers new to Blackbird Beach will follow the story, though the relationships land harder if the earlier books came first.
