Synopsis

When two students are murdered at an elite Edinburgh boarding school, Inspector John Rebus is called to investigate. The prime suspect is a reclusive former soldier, but Rebus quickly senses a deeper, more sinister plot at play. He must navigate the privileged world of the school and the dark past of the accused to uncover the truth behind the killings.
