Synopsis
UnStrung is a short companion story to Neal Shusterman's Unwind, co-written with Michelle Knowlden, set in the gap between Unwind and UnWholly.
After leaving CyFi, Lev Calder finds refuge on a Hi-Rez reservation, a wealthy Native American community that refused to sign the Unwind Accord and does not practice unwinding. There he meets Wil, a talented young guitarist whose circumstances leave a lasting impression on Lev. The encounter shapes Lev's transformation from a reluctant escaped Tithe into a clapper, and fills in events that later come up in UnWholly.
The story was first published as an ebook in July 2012.
