The Walking Dead, Book Eight
The Walking Dead, Book Eight is the eighth hardcover volume collecting Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's black-and-white survival horror series, gathering issues #85 through #96 — the story arcs published individually as "We Find Ourselves" and "A Larger World." The book is written by Kirkman, illustrated by penciller/inker Charlie Adlard, with gray tones by Cliff Rathburn and lettering by Rus Wooton.
Picking up after the deadly attack chronicled in "No Way Out," Rick Grimes and the remnants of his group are forced to rebuild from almost nothing. As they search for a way forward, they begin to realize their small band is not alone in the ruined world — other pockets of survivors, and other communities, may offer them a larger world than the one they've been fighting to hold onto.
Like the rest of the series, Book Eight continues The Walking Dead's reputation as a tense, character-driven survival horror story rather than a straightforward zombie action comic, and — consistent with the series' Mature Readers rating — its violence and content are intended for adult readers.
