Synopsis

In the summer of 1914, the Greville family enjoys a life of privilege at their grand estate, Abingdon Pryory, unaware of the coming conflict. As the Earl's children navigate secret romances and social expectations, the outbreak of World War I begins to tear through the rigid class structures of British society. The war soon transforms their world from a series of garden parties into a struggle for survival that reaches from the trenches back to their front door.
