Synopsis

Travis McGee, a salvage consultant and fixer in the Santa Monica Mountains, is drawn into a dangerous plot involving a missing woman and a ruthless local power player. As he navigates the underworld of Malibu and the men who run it, he must also confront a new and unexpected responsibility: his teenage daughter, whom he has never met before. The novel concludes the long-running series with a bittersweet turn as Travis decides to leave his lucrative business behind to raise his daughter.
