Synopsis

Travis McGee is hired by a wealthy father to investigate the fate of his daughter, Bix, who vanished into the expatriate drug and hippie scene in Oaxaca, Mexico. When Bix is found dead, her four friends are still missing, and McGee must navigate a dangerous underworld of addicts and dealers to uncover what really happened to them. Joined by his young sidekick Meyer, McGee digs into the dark underbelly of the Oaxaca scene, where the line between victim and perpetrator is rarely clear.
