Terry Pratchett's Carpe Jugulum
Stephen Briggs's stage adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Carpe Jugulum. Count Magpyr and his family, modern vampires from Überwald who no longer fear garlic, holy water, or religious symbols, arrive in Lancre for the naming of Princess Esmerelda Margaret Note Spelling. Their visit turns out to be the opening move in a plan to take over the kingdom, leaving Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and the rest of Lancre's witches to stop them.
Written for amateur and community theatre, the play follows the same story as the novel, condensed for the stage.
