Synopsis

In 1915, Adelaide Henry flees a family tragedy in California, heading for the harsh plains of Montana to start a new life as a homesteader. She brings with her a single, enormous steamer trunk that must always remain locked. But as she discovers the dangers of her new home, she realizes the terrifying secret she carries might be the only thing that can protect her.
