Synopsis

In 1899, a struggling scientific illustrator takes a job at a remote North Carolina estate documenting a reclusive doctor's insect collection. She soon discovers her employer is hiding a gruesome secret involving parasitic experiments and the mysterious disappearance of his wife. To survive, she must uncover the truth behind the local legends of blood thieves before she becomes the next subject.
