Island in the sky

During WWII, a group of civilian pilots flying air transport command are forced to make an emergency landing in the remote Canadian tundra. Stranded and facing harsh conditions, these acquaintances of the author must band together to survive. This historical fiction story explores their struggle against the elements and their fight for survival.
