Synopsis

Follow three young people on desperate journeys to escape their war-torn homelands. Josef flees Nazi Germany in the 1930s, Isabel leaves Cuba in 1994, and Mahmoud seeks safety from Syria in 2015. Though separated by time and distance, their paths converge as they face danger and loss in search of a new life.
