Heroes Reborn: Siege Society #1
Synopsis
Heroes Reborn: Siege Society #1 (Marvel, 2021) is a one-shot tie-in to the Heroes Reborn event, written by Cody Ziglar with interior art by Paco Medina and a cover by Ken Lashley. Set in an alternate timeline where the Avengers never existed and the Squadron Supreme reign, it follows Baron Zemo as he forms the Siege Society, a team including Black Widow, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Sabretooth, to topple Nighthawk's newly founded European Squadron.
The story recasts several familiar Marvel figures as mercenaries and antiheroes shaped by a world without the Avengers, with Zemo positioned as the issue's engrossing lead. It is a distinct book from Jason Aaron's main Heroes Reborn #1, sharing only the event branding.
