Synopsis

As the 20th century approaches, British Intelligence recruits a unique team of adventurers, including Allan Quartermain, Mina Murray, Captain Nemo, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, and the Invisible Man. These individuals, ostracized by Victorian society, are tasked with missions far beyond typical espionage. Their first challenge involves a 'devil doctor' in Limehouse, but a stranger menace from the stars soon emerges, testing their extraordinary abilities.

English comic book writer, born in Northampton in 1953. Best known for Watchmen, V for Vendetta, From Hell, Swamp Thing and Batman: The Killing Joke, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential writers in the history of comics and helped establish the graphic novel as a serious literary form. He has also written prose novels, including Jerusalem and The Great When, and has worked as a performer and occultist.
