Synopsis
In December 1985, nineteen-year-old Frank Mackey plans to run away with his girlfriend Rosie Daly and escape their bleak Dublin lives. When she fails to show up at their meeting place in the Liberties, he finds her abandoned note instead — a message that is never delivered. Twenty-two years later, now a detective on the city's undercover squad, Frank investigates her murder and is drawn into an old love triangle involving Rosie's brother Sean Daly.
