Synopsis

Trouble brews once more in the magical land of Xanth. A fearsome Gap Dragon has broken free, causing chaos, while a powerful forget-spell sweeps across the land, erasing memories. With a young child, Ivy, in peril from the hungry dragon, heroes must rise to confront these growing threats before all is lost.

Piers Anthony was born in Oxford, England, on 6 August 1934. His family immigrated to the United States when he was young. He graduated from Goddard College in Vermont in 1956, the year he married Carol Marble. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, working as an editor and cartoonist for the Battalion newspaper, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1958. He left the army in 1959, taught public school briefly, and then became a full-time writer. He and Carol Marble lived for many year...
