Synopsis

In the magical land of Xanth, every citizen possesses a unique spell, but Bink is born without any. Piers Anthony was born in Oxford, England, on 6 August 1934. His family immigrated to the United States when he was young. He graduated from Goddard College in Vermont in 1956, the year he married Carol Marble. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, working as an editor and cartoonist for the Battalion newspaper, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1958. He left the army in 1959, taught public school briefly, and then became a full-time writer. He and Carol Marble lived for many year...
