Synopsis

Dexter Morgan is used to being the one doing the hunting, but his world flips when he realizes a witness is watching him work. This mysterious observer starts mimicking Dexter's specific brand of vigilante justice, turning the forensic expert into a target. To protect his life and his secrets, Dexter must track down this copycat before his own double life is exposed to the Miami police.

Jeff Lindsay is the pen name of Jeffry P. Freundlich, an American playwright and crime novelist born in Miami, Florida, in 1952. He is best known for the Dexter series, eight novels about Dexter Morgan, a Miami forensic analyst who is also a vigilante serial killer, beginning with Darkly Dreaming Dexter (2004). The Showtime television series Dexter was based on the first book. He also wrote the Billy Knight thrillers and the Riley Wolfe series, and earlier works with his wife, Hilary Hemingway.
