Cut and Run

Cut and Run
Synopsis
Medical examiner Faith McIntyre has seen every kind of trauma, but not this one. The woman clinging to life after a midnight hit-and-run is FBI agent Macy Crow, and she is Faith's mirror image — the twin sister Faith never knew existed.
What Macy was doing in that alley is the first question. The answers are in the work she left half-finished, and Faith takes it up, alongside Texas Ranger Mitchell Hayden. The trail runs out to an isolated country ranch, where they find a burial ground holding three women who disappeared thirty years ago — and evidence that the man who put them there never stopped.
Cut and Run is the third of Mary Burton's Criminal Profiler novels, a Texas-set procedural in which the investigator's own bloodline turns out to be part of the case.
