I See You

I See You
Synopsis
Zoe Spencer's job at the FBI is to give the unidentified dead their faces back. She works from skeletal remains, building each victim in clay — a scientific process that becomes, for her, an intimate one. She gets attached. She wants each of them named, and each of their killers found.
The girl she reconstructs from a set of decade-old bones takes her to the victim's hometown, and to homicide detective William Vaughan, an on-again, off-again lover with whom she has unfinished business of her own. What starts as a cold case does not stay cold: as they work, it becomes clear that women are still going missing, and that whoever took the girl on Zoe's table never stopped.
I See You is the fifth Criminal Profiler novel, running a cold case and an active predator on parallel tracks.
