Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek
Synopsis
Macy Crow survived being left for dead, and now she has to prove she is still the agent the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit wants. The case they hand her is fifteen years old: Tobi Turner, a teenager who vanished from a small Virginia town and whose bones have finally surfaced.
Working with local sheriff Mike Nevada — who has his own history with the case and with Macy — she starts pulling on the threads nobody followed at the time, and finds a pattern of assaults from the same period that the town preferred to forget. Tobi's death was not an isolated tragedy; it was the end of something that had been happening for years.
Hide and Seek is the fourth Criminal Profiler novel, and the killer in it has had fifteen years of practice at not being found.
