Champagne and Catastrophes

Julia and Barker have finally set a date for their wedding, but that does not mean Julia has jumped into the planning, even though it is only three months away. With their daughter Jessie backpacking around Australia for the month, she has no excuse left, and still cannot bring herself to start.

An old school friend moves into the cottage across the lane, and Julia is over the moon to learn that Leah happens to be a wedding planner. It feels like fate has delivered her. Things sour quickly when it becomes clear not everyone in the village is happy to have Leah back after two decades away, and days into the planning Leah vanishes under suspicious circumstances.

With her best friends Roxy and Johnny in the frame for the disappearance, Julia must get to the bottom of it. Where has Leah gone, why are Roxy and Johnny so involved, and what did Leah do twenty years ago that was so terrible?
