Synopsis

Hap Colvin and his wisecracking partner Leonard Tannenbaum are hired to find a missing woman in a small Texas town, only to uncover a conspiracy involving a local Ku Klux Klan leader and a corrupt sheriff's department. As the duo digs into the mystery of her disappearance, they are forced to confront the town's virulent racism and the violence it breeds. Told with Lansdale's signature blend of gritty Southern noir and darkly comic dialogue, The Two-Bear Mambo is a tense, darkly funny ride through a world where the line between law and lawlessness is dangerously thin.
