The Storm in the Barn

In 1937 Kansas, eleven-year-old Jack Clark navigates the harsh realities of the Dust Bowl, from local bullies to a mysterious illness spreading through his town. When he glimpses a sinister figure with a face like rain in an abandoned barn, he questions his sanity in a land where rain is a distant memory. Jack must learn to trust his instincts and find the courage to become a hero as desperation gives way to unexpected bravery.
